At this stage of the summer, the vine enters one of the most important stages of its cycle: veraison. This is the moment when the grapes begin to ripen and the bunches gradually transform. Each variety takes on its characteristic hues, whilst the acidity begins to balance out.
As well as being visually striking, this stage marks the start of a process that is crucial to the quality of the future harvest. The vine now focuses its efforts on the development of the fruit, whilst the vineyard continues to adapt to the rhythm of nature.
We can finally see how the hard work and care of the previous months are reflected in every bunch, reminding us that the grape harvest is drawing ever closer.
