The end of summer marks the beginning of a season full of plans for lovers of the countryside and wine. And it is harvest time.
From September 1 to October 8, the Cuenca winery FINCA LA ESTACADA organizes its harvest workshop, a wine tourism activity in which to discover the secrets of making wine from the vine itself.
A unique experience, which begins with a guided tour of the winery’s vineyards, in which participants will discover the history of the grape from when it is harvested in the vineyard until it is transformed into must and later into wine. In the vineyard, attendees will learn first-hand the techniques used to select bunches, and will harvest some of the vines reserved by the winery.
A full day in the field under the name of “Grape Harvest Workshop” in which, in addition to visiting the vineyard and knowing the secrets of the winery, the user will do a tasting of the harvested grapes, will discover in first person what is the first bleeding of the grape and you can compare it with a completely finished wine, in this case one of the wines that give the winery its name, Finca La Estacada 12 months.
But the day does not end here, with this Harvest Package that Finca La Estacada has prepared, the visitor will be able to enjoy a night in its magnificent 4-Star Hotel, and taste a delicious Masiega menu, or a typical vintage menu in the restaurant of the cellar.
In addition, the winery offers its visitors access to its Spa circuit as a gift to complete this wine tourism getaway and thus enjoy with all five senses everything that the Finca La Estacada Wine Tourism Complex offers.
